Earlier this year, we heard of the indefinite hiatus of Red Sun Rising, which was really a bummer. I've caught them at a few shows over the last several years and enjoyed them immensely. Bands call it quits all the time though, and this year has proven to be a bigger challenge than ever for arts and entertainment.

Fortunately, we quickly learned that the creative juices never stopped flowing, and from the ashes of Red Sun Rising came The Violent. We were able to land an interview with drummer Pat Gerasia, and we can't wait to hear what's coming next!
